Well....where's the time?

TIME is the most elusive thing on the planet....i am sure not one person is happy about the way 'time' is spent.... I feel there has to be a mechnism to elongate the day and shorten it as one pleases....of all the inventions one can conjure up if someone can come up with a 'time adjuster', he would become the greatest scientist ever!!

Everything is sooo cramped up. Day starts at 8 O'Clock in mornin...usual stuff(read classes) till evening, lunch and tea cramped in between....some or the other events scheduled to keep busy for rest of the day..(Mandi starting on this weekend, so contact the media ppl...get some articles written, MastishK quizz...also there, etc etc....) Sleep sound sleep earliest at 1.30PM.

What the hell is happening......tats one question which keeps comin to my mind? Is this all one needs to do.....learn, earn and yearn?? Is that all.....there has to be something missing in between all these, there surely is something missing.

The other day was reading some poems mostly ordinary ones. And lo...found one tat possibly touched me the most. Thought I will introduce the reader to my favourite poet William Davis(this poem of his gave an indication to what most of us are missing):

What is life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare!

How true, isn't it?

Ciao till next time...harsha
